As my first ever project for StatusEffect. I manually re-created the captains quarters of a galleon type ship within Unreal Engine 5.
This included exporting assets from the game, setting up unreal engine projects, lighting, setting up material nodes and using reference images to place assets individually.
Once done, I created a promo image of the Gilded Phoenix weapon set by creating artificial lighting to highlight the metallic parts of the weapons, utilising lumen/ray-tracing in UE5 and posed the scene using props.
I then used the same scene to create stream scene's & transitions for the Viewer Voyages Charity Livestream.
I also created the promotion image for this stream.
The viewer voyages stream also made use of a custom xbox controller which I textured. Using projection texturing to get the base "Ferryman" controller design. I then manually textured the buttons & D-PAD to have specular, analogs to have a roughness & normal map (rubber grip) and finally the middle Xbox button to generate light just like real Xbox One controllers do.
